How We Use Information

We use information to provide the AssessArc service, personalize interview practice, process payments, support users, improve product quality, and keep the platform secure.

  • Create and manage user accounts, sessions, authentication, credits, interview history, institute workspaces, and internship records.
  • Generate resume-based interview questions, role-specific questions, AI feedback, scoring, answer analysis, performance insights, and reports.
  • Process purchases, verify Razorpay payments, add credits, deduct credits, investigate failed payments, handle refund requests, and maintain billing records.
  • Respond to support messages, privacy requests, data deletion requests, technical problems, institute enquiries, and content correction requests.
  • Improve page quality, product flows, security monitoring, fraud prevention, abuse detection, analytics, search visibility, and customer communication.

AI Processing

AssessArc uses AI services, including Google Gemini API where configured, to generate interview questions, evaluate answers, provide feedback, summarize performance, and support learning workflows. Resume text, selected role details, answer transcripts, and related context may be sent to AI providers for these purposes.

AI-generated questions, feedback, scores, and summaries can be incomplete or imperfect. They are provided for educational practice and should not be treated as professional hiring advice, legal advice, or a guaranteed assessment of employability.

Cookies, Analytics, Ads, and Local Storage

AssessArc uses cookies, local storage, Firebase Authentication persistence, and similar browser technologies to keep users signed in, remember referral or product context, protect sessions, and support basic product functionality.

We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand page performance, traffic sources, and product usage. We may use Google Ads or AdSense-related scripts for verification, measurement, or advertising after approval. Advertising units, when enabled, should be separated from editorial content and labeled appropriately.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or local storage may prevent authentication, payments, interview history, or other account features from working correctly.

Payments

Payments are processed through Razorpay or other payment providers shown at checkout. AssessArc does not store your card number, UPI PIN, net banking credentials, CVV, or full payment instrument details.

We store payment references, order IDs, transaction status, amount, credits purchased, wallet balance, refund status, and support notes so we can verify payments, provide invoices or records where available, investigate issues, and process eligible refunds.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only when needed to operate AssessArc, comply with law, prevent abuse, or complete a user-requested action.

  • Authentication, hosting, storage, database, and cloud providers such as Firebase, Google Cloud, and related infrastructure services.
  • AI providers used for question generation, feedback, scoring, and analysis.
  • Payment providers such as Razorpay for payment processing, payment verification, refunds, and dispute handling.
  • Analytics, advertising, email, security, and operational tools used to maintain and improve the service.
  • Legal, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities when required by applicable law or to protect AssessArc, users, or the public from harm or fraud.

Data Retention

We retain account, interview, resume, wallet, payment, institute, internship, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain user history, resolve disputes, comply with legal or tax obligations, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.

Users may request deletion of account data by emailing us at assessarc@gmail.com. We will review valid deletion requests and aim to process them within 7 business days, except where retention is required for payment, tax, fraud prevention, security, legal, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authentication controls, cloud storage permissions, payment verification, and access restrictions. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their account credentials and contact us quickly if they suspect unauthorized access.

Children and Students

AssessArc is intended for job seekers, students, professionals, institutions, and adult users preparing for interviews. It is not directed to children under 13.

Users under 18 should use AssessArc only with permission from a parent, guardian, school, college, institute, or other authorized adult. Institute admins are responsible for ensuring they have the right consent before uploading student information.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or clarification about your personal information. To make a request, email assessarc@gmail.com from the account email when possible and include enough detail for us to verify and process the request.

International Users and Jurisdiction

AssessArc may be accessed from different countries, but the service is operated from India-facing infrastructure and payment workflows. By using AssessArc, you understand that your information may be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers operate. This policy is governed by applicable laws of India unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
